ABOUT US
Veronique Caubel, NCPT
EnCORE's pilates instructor, Veronique Caubel, began practicing Pilates in 2006 and quickly fell in love with its rejuvenating powers - her chronic hip pain lessened with each Pilates session, and she regained mobility she thought was lost. Over several years, Veronique developed a passion for Pilates, the healthy lifestyle it promotes, and the community of women with whom she practiced Pilates movements every week. Veronique was a university professor when she decided to combine her passion for teaching with Pilates, enrolling in the BASI Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training. In 2012, she became a BASI Certified Pilates Instructor and has been actively practicing ever since.
Veronique is the founder of EnCore Pilates
Veronique originally trained as a midwife in France - she graduated in 1987 and practiced pre- and post-natal medicine at several hospitals in Paris. In 1998, she emigrated to the United States and worked as a Research Assistant for medical studies for 4 years, before becoming an adjunct professor in 2005. She taught French language and culture at Rider University, Muhlenberg College, and DeSales University for 6 years, before starting her journey as a full time Pilates instructor.

Veronique's Pilates practice builds on her 12 years experience as a midwife. In 2012, she completed the Pre/Postnatal Specialist Program taught by Carolyn Anthony, founder of The Center For Women’s Fitness. Veronique provides classes specifically for expecting and new mothers. Veronique's formal Pilates training is not just focused on maternal care, however. In 2015, Veronique completed the Pilates Method Alliance exam, qualifying her as a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT), and she earned her Yamuna Body Rolling certification in 2016. Veronique's mission is to promote women's health through all the different stages of life, so she decided to take an osteoporosis specialty training taught by Rebekah Rotstein in New York City, qualifying her as a Buff Bones certified instructor in 2018.

Veronique has practiced Pilates both in France and the US. She was the founder of Encore Pilates Paris and taught Pilates for 3 years there. Upon her return to the Lehigh Valley she founded Encore Pilates in 2015. She practiced privately for several years, before joining the team at The Restoration Space in 2018. She feels like she has found a perfect group and location at The Restoration Space, and has been working to lead and expand their Pilates program ever since. As Bethlehem's premier personal trainer for mindful pilates, Veronique has built a large practice over the years and is constantly working to welcome more people into this community.
